Centrifugal Feeders: The Heartbeat of High-Speed Automation

A centrifugal feeder is an essential piece of automation equipment designed to rapidly sort, orient, and deliver parts to a production line. It is the go-to solution for applications demanding high speeds and gentle part handling that other methods, like vibratory feeders, cannot achieve.

Why It Is Important

centrifugal feeders are a cornerstone of modern manufacturing for several critical reasons:
Unmatched Speed: They can achieve significantly higher feed rates than most other feeding systems, directly increasing production throughput and maximizing line efficiency.
Gentle Part Handling: The smooth, rotating motion is ideal for delicate components, pre-printed parts, or parts with cosmetic finishes that could be damaged by the tumbling action of vibratory feeders
Quiet Operation: Centrifugal feeders operate at much lower noise levels than their vibratory counterparts, contributing to a safer and more pleasant work environment.
Reliability and Consistency: By providing a steady, predictable flow of correctly oriented parts, these feeders prevent jams and costly downtime in downstream robotic and assembly systems. This reliability is fundamental to achieving successful "lights-out" or minimally supervised manufacturing.

Short and Sweet Headlines are Best!

Centrifugal Feeder Bowls range in size form 6" in diameter to 54" in diameter, and are offered in both USDA approved design and industrial grade design. USDA centrifugal feeders of choice for both the FOOD and the PHARMACEUTICAL industries.

The standard centrifugal feeder bowls come wit two variable speed DC motors for easy adjustment of the rim and center disc speeds, as opposed to our competitors single speed ratio systems. This is especially helpful when running more than one style of part in each feeder bowl.  Centrifugal feeders are capable of handling a wide range of parts and sizes, at very high rates of feed for many applications.

Each one is designed and custom tooled for the part handling characteristics required.
