Key functional aspects of Zoned Accumulators include:
• Independent Zones: Each zone is powered independently and can be activated or deactivated.
• Buffer Management: When a downstream process is temporarily halted or slowed, products can accumulate in upstream zones. Once the downstream process is ready, the zones reactivate, and products continue their journey.
Controlled Pressure
• Zero Pressure Accumulation: Uses sensors to ensure products don't touch each other, ideal for fragile items.
• Minimum Pressure Accumulation: Allows for slight contact with carefully regulated drive pressure.
• Flow Control: They enable smooth regulation of product flow, ensuring a consistent supply to each stage of production
